Day 12 of our 25 Days of Advent devotional series

We're back with Day 12 of our 25 Days of Advent devotional series. To Quickly recap, Advent is the preparation period for the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. To prepare, we are partaking in daily devotionals until Christmas Day. With that said, let's jump right into today's devotional.

For today's devotional, let us begin by reading Psalms 100 1:1-5. Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. 2 Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. 3 Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good, and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

On day ten of this devotional series, we learned about prayer and how Christians pray, so today, I wanted to focus on praise and worship. As the holidays are here, it's essential for us not only to pray but to take a moment to worship the Lord and sincerely thank the Lord for all that God has done for us up till now and for what is to come. We also must praise God for his love and for sending us Jesus because we have salvation through our belief in Jesus. We must praise God for it all. The scripture Psalms 100:1-5 tells us how to worship. Worship is simply signing beautiful songs to the Lord and acknowledging God for who he is and how great he has been to us. During this holiday season and daily, take a moment to worship the Lord through prayer and singing songs. I wanted to share a few songs that I enjoy for worship and that you will enjoy.

Screenshot this song list or later, and TAKE a moment today to worship the Lord; when you worship, feel free to let go. I hope today's devotional encourages you. Let us pray.
